Standing Seam Universal Roof Anchor

The Standing Seam Universal Roof Anchor provides installation onto Standing Seam metal roofs for temporary use applications only. The Standing Seam Universal Roof Anchor is designed & rated for 15kN Single person use with a maximum user weight including tools & equipment of 140kg. The device is designed to be used for both residential and commercial applications for fall restraint. Ideal for the standing seam roof profiles here in New Zealand the anchor gives the operator a perpendicular unhindered working area on both sides of the anchor up to the roof edge whilst retraining a restraint position. This anchor system can be used with an adjustable roof safety line system or an approved self retracting lifeline system.

Only suitable for standing seam metal roofing panels with a minimum of 0.7 BMT and  provided roof sheets are secured in place as per manufacturer’s instructions and testing data; It is important to ensure that the structure in which the product is being applied to has sufficient strength to sustain the applied load. Integrity and suitability of the structure to which this anchor is attached must be approved by a structural engineer unless it is clear to a competent person as to the suitability of connection to structure.

Must be used in conjunction with an Energy Absorbing device and complaint fully body harness in accordance to New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1891.1.

Additional tools required are 19mm Socket, calibrated torque wrench & 19mm spanner. And always refer to the User Instruction Manual included with each anchor system.
